BIOGRAPHY
Huber F. Crippen was born in Connecticut in 1907. In Rye his family lived at 36 Dearborn Avenue. Huber enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Birth: Sep. 8, 1907 Death: Aug. 18, 1976
Huber F. Crippen, 68, died Aug. 18 at the V.A. Hospital, Albany. Born in New Britain, CT, Sept. 8, 1907, he was the son of Homer and Helen Fry Crippen. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Gadway; aunt Mrs. Florence Deming, Cheshire, CT, cousins Dr. Lois Armbruster and June Anquillare, both of Cheshire. Burial was in Amenia Island. Harlem Valley Times, 26 Aug 1976
